It is important to mention that not all products can be sublimated, for that you must buy products that are specially designed or prepared to use in sublimation.
If you are going to personalize fabrics, you can only do it on 100% polyester fabrics and in white for optimal results, since there is no white color in sublimation inks. Therefore, to be able to sublimate on cotton, for example, you must use a different technique/option, in this case you can use the Subliflex brand thermo-adhesive sublimation fabric.
Q:3: Can I sublimate on cotton and dark colors?
Technically No, it cannot be sublimated directly on cotton or on dark colors, since in sublimation there is no white color, and it is necessary to use 100% polyester fabrics.

A: Once the fabric is sublimated it can be touched and cut immediately and the ink does not run or stain, since it is sublimated on a white 100% polyester fabric it is not necessary to wait for the ink to dry, once the fabric is adhered according to the recommended instructions lasts up to 200 washings.
Q:11: Can I combine several sheets of thermos-adhesive sublimation fabric to make a larger design?
A: You can do it if the design can be divided into parts, but it is not recommended, to make a larger design you can buy the thermo-adhesive sublimation fabric by the yard and in this way, you can print in wide format for example 11 x19 and sublimate in that fabric size.
Q:12: Which side of the fabric is sublimated?
A: The thermo-adhesive sublimation fabric is very easy to identify its sublimation side, one side is fabric, and the back is paper, so when sublimating it must be done on the fabric part and once sublimated and cut it is removed the protective paper on the back very easily and sticks.
Q:13: Can the print and cut technique be used with the thermos adhesive sublimation fabric?
A: YES, you can use the print and cut technique, both in Cricut and Cameo you must sublimate the registration marks on the fabric and then cut, but you also have the option of first cutting the fabric (silhouette) and then sublimating.

It is recommended to do tests with your equipment to know the appropriate parameters for your equipment.

Q:1: Que es la sublimación?

Q:2: Que se puede sublimar?

Si vas a personalizar tejidos solo lo podrás hacer sobre tejidos 100% poliéster y en color blanco para óptimos resultados, ya que en las tintas de sublimación no existe el color blanco. Por lo tanto, para poder sublimar por ejemplo en algodón, deberás utilizar una técnica/opción diferente, en este caso puedes usar la tela sublimable termo adhesiva marca Subliflex.
Q:3: Puedo sublimar en algodón y colores obscuros?
Técnicamente No, No se puede sublimar directamente sobre algodón o sobre colores obscuros, ya que en la sublimación no existe el color blanco y es necesario utilizar telas 100% poliéster.

Q:7: Puedo imprimir directamente sobre la tela sublimable termo adhesiva?

A: No, la tela sublimable termoadhesiva se puede utilizar en textiles 100% algodón, 50% algodón 50% poliéster o 100% poliéster, de cualquier color, pero también se puede utilizar en cerámica, canvas, mezclilla, madera, metal, cartón, papel entre otros.

Q:10: Cuantas lavadas soporta la tela sublimable termoadhesiva?
A: Una vez que la tela es sublimada se puede tocar y cortar inmediatamente y la tinta no se corre o mancha, ya que esta sublimada en una tela blanca 100% poliéster no es necesario esperar a que seque la tinta, una vez adherida la tela de acuerdo con las instrucciones recomendadas dura hasta 200 lavadas.
Q:11: Puedo combinar varias hojas de la tela sublimable termoadhesiva para hacer un diseño más grande?
A: Puedes hacerlo si el diseño se puede dividir en partes, pero no es recomendable, para hacer un diseño mas grande puedes adquirir la tela sublimable termo adhesiva por yardas y de esta forma puedes imprimir en formato ancho por ejemplo 11 x19 y sublimar en ese tamaño de tela.
Q:12: Cual es el lado de la tela que se sublima?
A: La tela sublimable termoadhesiva es muy fácil de identificar su lado sublimable, un lado es tela y la parte de atrás es papel, así que al momento de sublimar se debe de hacer en la parte de tela y una vez sublimada y cortada se retira el papel protector de la parte de atrás muy fácilmente y se adhiere.
Q:13: Se puede usar la técnica de imprimir y cortar con la tela sublimable termoadhesiva?
A: SI, se puede usar la técnica de imprimir y cortar, tanto en Cricut como Cameo debes de sublimar en la tela las marcas de registro y después cortar, pero también tienes la opción de primero cortar la tela (silueta) y después sublimar.
Q:14: Con que plotter y navaja se puede cortar la tela sublimable termoadhesiva?
A: Puedes usar un plotter Cricut Maker con la navaja rotatoria o un plotter Cameo igualmente con la navaja de tela. Es recomendable hacer pruebas para encontrar tus propios parámetros de corte y presión, los parámetros que se incluyen en las instrucciones solo son parámetros recomendados.
Q:15: Cuales son los parámetros recomendados para sublimar y adherir la tela sublimable termoadhesiva?
A: Los parámetros recomendados para sublimar son 400 grados Fahrenheit por 60 segundos y los parámetros recomendados para adherir son 400 grados por 50 segundos utilizando alta presión, es importante utilizar alta presión para que la tela se adhiera perfectamente a la prenda. Es recomendable hacer pruebas con tu equipo para conocer los parámetros adecuados a tu equipo.
